Breast Augmentation Revision Surgery

Playboy model Tatiana Polo sought the help of Dr. Tarick Smaili for revision of her breast augmentation. Ten years ago Tatiana had undergone breast augmentation surgery in Venezuela, but she had several complications with her implants including asymmetry and capsular contracture. She was also interested in replacing her saline breast implants with silicone implants for a more natural look and feel.

Specializing in breast augmentation and breast reconstruction, Dr. Smaili was able to revise the pocket of her breast and create better symmetry with the silicone implants. When performing breast augmentation it is important to create a pocket larger than the implant so the implant has room to move and space is allowed for tissue to build around it. To help prevent excessive tissue build up it is important that patients massage after breast augmentation.
